Types of Acting

Classes are primarily designed for those who want to be in film or television. However, Nancy’s core classes provide a strong foundation in the craft of acting that has proven valuable to theatre actors as well as those who are still exploring what type of actor they want to be.

Learning Environment

Nancy works to provide a positive, safe, and nurturing environment where actors work collaboratively to explore and develop their craft.

Class Size

Workshops and classes are purposely kept small (12 students or under) to guarantee onstage scene time and personal feedback.

Teaching Style

Nurturing each student as an individual, Nancy’s teaching methods works to empower actors by learning how to unlock their creative potential.

Nancy draws lessons from some of the great acting teachers such as Uta Hagen, Stella Adler, and Sanford Meisner. However, she does not subscribe exclusively to one teaching method nor forbid the use of another.

Rather, Nancy integrates a variety of time-tested techniques with her own style of teaching to provide each student with the opportunity to explore and identify what acting techniques and tools work for them.
